Letter from the King to the Councill for Repriveing John and Hugh Frazers
The Letter underwrittin from the King to his Councill, Being Read was ordered to be Recorded, wherof the tenor Follows.

Right Trusty And Right welbeloved Cousin and Councellor, Right trusty and Entirely beloved Cousin and Councellor, Right trusty and welbeloved Cousins and Councellors, Right trusty and welbeloved Councellors. and Trusty and welbeloved Councellors, We greet yow well. Whereas we understand, That the nynth day of this current moneth is appointed for Executing the Sentence the Sentence of death against John Frazer of Migavie and Hugh Frazer of Leucloyn, And They having Supplicated for our Royall mercy and Represented their circumstances to be Suck as deserve the same, We are Resolved that the Sentence of death Shall not be put to Execution against them untill we have fully Considered the said Sentence and State of that affair, We do Therfore hereby authorize and Require yow to Grant a further Reprive to the saids John and Hugh Frazers till the Twenty day of November next. For doing whereof This Shall be yowr Warrant. Given att our Court at Hampton-Court the second day of May i700 And of our Reign the Twelfth year. By his Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur Robert Pringle.
