Act

Anent victuall during the scarcity

It is the Councills opinion that the tyme alloued in the proclamation anent victuall of the date the nynth of June J^aj vj^c nyntie six For importing the same from all places abroad untill the first of september nixt free of all publick burden be prorogued to the first day of October next to Come And in the mean tyme Recommends to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties Thesaury to speak and transact with merchants and aggree uith them anent the Importing of victuall into this Kingdome and selling the same at alse easie a rate as may be during the present scarcity upon such tearms and uith such Incouragements as their Lordships shall think fitt to give to such merchants
