Recommendation to the advocat to wryt to Magistrats of Ruglen to transport Kathrin Smith to the Tolbooth of Edinburgh

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby give full power and warrand to Sir James Stewart to wryt to the magistrats of Ruglen and to give order to the said Magistrats to Transport Katharin Smith who is prisoner in the said toune for suspicion of Murthering her own Child or accessory therto and to delyver her to the magistrats of Edinburgh or keeper of their tolbooth therin to remaine prisoner till farder order.

The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Recommend to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties thesaury to grant precepts for full pay to the officers and Souldiers of the two independent Companies in the Highlands And that untill his Majesties warrand be Specially granted for that effect.
