Warrant
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill In obedience to a Letter direct to them from his Majestie of the date the Eleventh day of February Current Doe hereby Give order and warrant to Major Generall George Ramsay Commander in Chief of his Majesties forces within the kingdome of Scotland That he give the necessary orders for stoping the Regiment of Dragoons under the Command of the Viscount of Teviot That they be not marched out of this kingdome into the Kingdome of England untill furder order for that effect; And ordaines the said Regiment to be quartered so as they may be in a readiness to march upon the first Notice to be hereafter given from his Majestie or the saids Lords of privy Councill

Letter from the King to the Councill for Stoping the Marching of the Viscount of Teviots Regiment into England being Read was ordered to be recorded, wherof the tenor followes.
Sic Supra Scribitur William Rex
Right trusty and right2 weell beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and intirely beloved Cousins and Councillors Right trustie and right well beloved Cousins and Councillors, Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and well beloved Councillors And Trustie and well beloved Councillors Wee Greet yow well; Wheras by our Letter of the thrid instant Wee directed yow to give orders That our Regiment of Dragoons Commanded by the Viscount of Teviot Should with all expedition march into our kingdom of England; It is now our will and pleasure Notwithstanding of that our Letter; Incaice the said Regiment is not marched that yow Stopt The same and if already Marched that ywo receive them again into the pay of that our Kingdome and order them to be quartered So as they be in a3 readines to march upon the first notice to be hereafter given by us to yow; And as to the other particulars of that our Letter, yow are to proceed according to our directiones therin Signified to yow; For doeing wherof this shall be your warrant And so wee bid yow heartily fareweell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the 11th day of February 1701/2 And of our Reigne the 13th year By his Majesties Command Sic Subscribitur Hyndfoord

Warrant
The Lords of his Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Recommend to her Grace Anna Dutches of Hamiltone And in her absence gives order and warrant to John Hamilton her Graces Baillie depute in the Abbay of Hollyruidhouse To Suffer and permitt the body of Dame Elizabeth Sinclar Spouse to Francis Montgomry of Giffan to be interred within the Abbay Church of Holyruidhouse; Notwithstanding the same be declared his Majesties Chaple; For which this shall be to all concerned a Sufficient warrant.
