Sir Thomas Livingstoune Comander in Cheiff of their majesties Forces in this kingdome produced a great many recepts of armes borrowed up be Severall persones Or given out to them And the Councill Recomended to the Lords of thesaurie To Consider these recepts and call for the armes contained therin, And haveing called in Sir Thomas Moncreiff Clerk to the thesaurie and exchaquer, The Lord high Chancelor did deliver to him all these recepts in Cumullo as they were produced be Sir Thomas.

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councill Doe heirby give order and warrand to the Clerks of Councill to give up the bond granted by Mr George Gordon and Mr Alexander Chrichton preists and ther Cautioners for the said preists their returneing to prisone each day within the space of Four houres after they come Furth therof dated the seveinteinth day of March Jaj vjc nyntie one, upon the said preists ther giveing bond and Finding Caution in the termes of the act of Councill in their favors of the date the thretein day of Aprill instant.

Ordor Anent the Earle of Marshall and Errolls guirds the tyme of the sitting of the parliament

Itt Being moved that the Marshall and Constables guairds keeped by them the tyme of the sitting of the parliament might be in readines the morrow on which day the fourth session of this parliament does begin The Earle of Kintore for my Lord Marishall (who being aged and Infirme is presently absent) Did undertake to have his guairds In readines In the usuall manner and that his Lordship uowld take care anent the Honours for the Earle of Marishall And the Earle of Erroll being also absent James Hay wryter to the signet who manadges his affairs Being called for to Give account who Command my Lord Errolls guairds The Sollicitor being appoynted to Speake with him Gave account That one David Hay did Command And It being offered to the Councell That the said David was a persone who had never taken the oath of alleadgance or assurance The Councell thought fitt He should take Both Before he Command that Guaird and allowed him to Consider while the morrow

The Lords of their Majesties privy Councell Doe heirby Give ordor and uarrand to the Magistrats of Edinburgh Baillies of the Cannongate and Keeper of that tolbooth to sett at liberty furth therof Mr James Hepburne alleadged to be a popish preist In respect he hath first given bond and found sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privy Councell That he shall transport himself furth of their Majesties dominiones In the fleet under the Convoy of the man of warr now lying in the road of Leith called […] and that betuixt and the tuenty of May nixt to Come and sooner if the said man of warr and fleet under his convoy shall saile before that tyme Or other wayes that He shall present himself to the Lord High Chancellor of this Kingdome the said day under the penaltie of ane Hundred pounds Sterline In caise he shall transgress in any part of the premisses And declares the said Mr James to be free of paying of house dues and that ane extract of thir presents shall be a sufficient pass to him
