Act Mr Thomas Ogilvie

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be Mr Thomas Ogilvie preacher of the Gospell Shewing That wher the petitioner by order of the presbetrie of Dwndie hath Supplied the vaccant congregatione of Alyth and preached therat since March Last And is to continwe preaching ther untill he be recalled Conforme to the act of the presbetrie and declaratione of the heretors therwith prodwced wherby he hath right to the Stipend of the said paroch Conform to the acts of parliament made anent Supplieing the vacancies in the north And therfore humbly craveing to the effect eftermentioned As the said petitione bears The saids Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the above petitione with the act of the presbetrie and declaratione of the heretors mentioned therin And prodwced therwith they heirby allow to the petitioner the Stipend of the above kirk of Alyth for this present cropt and yeir of God Jaj vic nyntie six And decernes and ordaines the petitioner to be readily ansuered obeyed and payed of the said yeirs Stipend to the heretors fermers titullars tacksemen tennents and possessors and others lyable in the saids yeirs Stipends And ordaines Letters of Horning to be direct at the petitioners instance against the heretors fewers wodsetters liferenters titulars tacksemen tenents possessors and others lyable in payment of the said yeirs Stipend to make payment of the same to the petitioner upon productione of a decreit of Locality and in caise ther be non ordaines the heretors and others foirsaids to make payment of the said yeirs Stipend according as they shall be decerned and determined be the Judge ordinary

Act The Laird of Hoptoun

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell By Charles Hope of Hoptoune heretabell shireff of the shirefdome of Linlithgow Shewing That whereas It is appointed by Act of parliament that Masters of Game be appointed within the severall shirrefdomes of his Kingdome For putting in executione the Laus and Acts made anent Game and sport And seing that the office of Master of Game is now fallen vacant in the shirrefdome of Linlithgow by the decease of the Late Earle of Linlithgow And therfore humblie Craving to the effect under wryten as the said petitione Bears His Majesties high Commissioner and the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill having Considered this petitione given in to them by the above Charles Hope They heirby Nominat and appoint the said Charles Hope of Hopetoune to be Master of the Game within the bounds of the said Shirrefdome of Linlithgow With power to him to exercise the said office And to Enjoy the prviledges and Emoliments theirby arrysing also fullie in all respects as by the Law of this Kingdome Any master of Game may exercise and Enjoy the same.

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell By Charles Hope of Hoptoune heretabell shireff of the shirefdome of Linlithgow Shewing That whereas It is appointed by Act of parliament that Masters of Game be appointed within the severall shirrefdomes of his Kingdome For putting in executione the Laus and Acts made anent Game and sport And seing that the office of Master of Game is now fallen vacant in the shirrefdome of Linlithgow by the decease of the Late Earle of Linlithgow And therfore humblie Craving to the effect under wryten as the said petitione Bears His Majesties high Commissioner and the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill having Considered this petitione given in to them by the above Charles Hope They heirby Nominat and appoint the said Charles Hope of Hopetoune to be Master of the Game within the bounds of the said Shirrefdome of Linlithgow With power to him to exercise the said office And to Enjoy the prviledges and Emoliments theirby arrysing also fullie in all respects as by the Law of this Kingdome Any master of Game may exercise and Enjoy the same.
