Liberatione Sir William Sharp

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby in obedience to his majesties Letter direct to them of the date the fyfteenth day of January Jaj vjc nynty and sex years Declair Sir William Sharp of Scotscraig to be at Liberty to goe about his affairs as any other of his Majesties free Leidges In respect the said Sir William hes given bond and found sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privy Councill that He shall Live peaceably under the Government of his majestie King William and that He shall appear before the said Lords of privie Councill when called for under the penalty of two hundred pound sterline in case he shall transgress in any part of the premisses

The Letter following being read was ordered to be recorded follows the Letter sic suprascribitur William Rex Right trusty and right wel beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and intirely beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and right welbeloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Councillors and trusty and welbeloved Councillors we greet you well It is our will and pleasure. That you accept of sufficient Baille and security of Sir William Sharp of Scotscraig to live peaceablie under our Government and to appeare before you when called for doeing whereof this shall be your warrant so we bid you heartilie farewell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the fyfteenth day of Januarie 1695/6 and of our Reigne the seventh year by his majesties Command sic subscribitur J Johnstoune
