The Letter following being read was ordered to be recorded follows the Letter sic suprascribitur William Rex Right trusty and right wel beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and intirely beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and right welbeloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Councillors and trusty and welbeloved Councillors we greet you well It is our will and pleasure. That you accept of sufficient Baille and security of Sir William Sharp of Scotscraig to live peaceablie under our Government and to appeare before you when called for doeing whereof this shall be your warrant so we bid you heartilie farewell Given at our Court at Kensingtoune the fyfteenth day of Januarie 1695/6 and of our Reigne the seventh year by his majesties Command sic subscribitur J Johnstoune
