Remitt anent Hugh Broune Chirurgeon

Hugh Broune Chirurgeon in Edinburgh who is under bale to the Councill being named to have appeared before them this day sent his excuse That he had a daughter was dyeing and whom he could not leave without hazard The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill doe hereby remitt to Sir Robert Cheislie present provost of Edinburgh one of ther owne number To call for the said Hugh Broune and either to continow his bale or Committ him prisoner as he shall think fitt for such tyme as his daughter is in hazard of death, and after he can be spared from his said daughter to Committ him prisoner to the Tolbooth of Edinburgh there to remaine till farder ordor
