The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered a representatione made to them be Dwncan Ronald writer to the Signet and John Wilkie merchand in Edinburgh and Agnes and Magdaline Scotts her Spouses Beareing that their Lordships by the act of the date the twentie of March Jaj vic nyntie four upon the decease of Isobell Wardlaw doughter and air to wnqle Mr Charles Wardlaw of Logie Have given order and warrand to the baillie deput of the regalitie of Dumferleing to take inspectione and make inventar of the wrytes and evidents of Logie and to seall the same and to transport them to the clerks of privie Counsell which wrytes are now sealled and Secured in the hands of the said baillie deput And that the saids Agnes and Madgaline Scotts are served and retourned as airs portioners in speciall to the said Isobell Wardlaw as ther retoure Showen to the Lords of privie Counsell hes testified And therfore humbly craveing to the effect underwritten The saids Lords of his majesties privie Cownsell Doe heirby take off any seqwestratione Laid upon the saids wrytes and evidents and decernes and ordaines […] Baillie deput of the said regalitie of Dumferleing to Deliver the same with the charter chist wherin they ly and the key thereof to the saids Duncan Ronald and John Wilkie And ordaines Letters of Horning on fiftein dayes and others needfull under the signet of Counsell to be direct heiron in forme as effeirs
