Act Anent accompts resting to the inhabitants of St Andrews

The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing Considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Countrie Beareing that the Comittie haveing considered the accompt given in to them as resting by The Lord Rollo and the Gentlemen of his troupe to the inhabitants of St Andrews with the instructiones and verificationes therof They find the haill articles of the said accompt Sufficiently verified and proven by the oaths and Depositiones of the saids inhabitants taken befor two of the Comissioners of Supplie within the Shyre of Fiffe Conforme to the saids Comissioners ther report written upon the end of the said accompt and Subscribed be them beareing that the haill persones named in the accompt compeared befor them and Deponed that the Soumes in the accompt are truely resting to them And that ther is no pairt therof payed And that they are for meat and Drink corne and Straw furnished be them to The Lord Rollos troupe in November Jaj vic and nyntie yeirs Which accompt Depositiones and report were all produced to and considered be the said Comittie And findes that conforme to the said accompt and instructiones therof ther is resting be the said Lord Rollo and the Gentlemen of his troupe the Soume of Two Hundereth punds Sixtein Shilling Scotts And finds that the haill articles wherof this Soume is made up are all furnished preceeding the first day of February Jaj vic nyntie one yeirs And that they are all in the termes of the nynth act fourth sessione of this current parliament intituled act anent the polemoney and of the proclamationes of Counsell relative therto And therfor it is the Comitties opinion that the said Soume of two hundereth punds Sixtein Shilling Scots is to be payed to the saids inhabitants of St Andrews out of the said polemoney And that they are to be recomended to the Lords Commissioners of his majesties Thesaurie for payment of the same accordingly As the said report bears The saids Lords of his majesties privie Counsell doe heirby approve of the said report and recomends to the Commissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the saids inhabitants of Standrews of the above Soume of Two Hundereth punds Sixtein Shilling Scotts And that out of the said polemoney
