Act anent accompts resting be Ballnagownes companie

The Lords of his majesties privie Councell haveing considered the report of a comittie of ther own number appointed for reviseing of the accompts resting be his majesties forces to the Cowntrie Bearing that the comittie haveing considered Ane recept Subscrived be David Ross of Ballnagowne wherby he grants that for the mentaining of that Hundereth men of his two companies in his majesties Service Mr Alexander Ross Leivetennent to the said Hundereth men hes receaved from James Mckenzie in Meickletarrell fourtie and bolls oat meall Dated the nynth day of Aprile Jaj vic nyntie yeirs with a report Subscribed by the Comissioners of Supply of the Eastern divisione of Ross Shyre Beareing that the said Mr Alexander Ross Did take from the said James Mckenzie the number of fiftie bolls oatmeall at six punds per boll to the which report The Said Laird of Ballnagowne is one of the Subscriveing Comissioners Togither with a missive Letter be Ballnagowne to Sir Thomas Livingston relateing to the comissioners report And intreating Sir Thomas his assistance to gett the fiftie bolls meall allowed owt of the polemoney They give ther opinion That the price of the said Fiftie bolls meall extending at six punds per boll to the Soume of Thrie Hundereth punds Scotts money as to be payed to the said James Mckenzie out of the present pole money And that he is to be recommended to The Lords Comissioners of his majesties Thesaurie for payment of the same Accordingly As the said Report Beares. The Lords of his majesties privie Councill haveing considered the above report They heirby approve therof And recomends to the Comissioners of parliament appointed anent the polemoney imposed in anno Jaj vic nyntie thrie to cause make payment to the said James McKenzie of the said Soume of Thrie Hundereth punds Scotts And that out of the said polemoney
