Warrand for Interring the Lady Cardross in the abbey church

Anent the petition given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill By Captain William Areskine Govenour of Blacknes Sheuing That the Lady Cardross the petitioners mother Being to be buryed on wednesday nixt in the Abbey church in the Earle of Roxburgh’s buriall place whose Consent is obtained therto being the place wher her husband Lyes And therfore humblie Craving to the effect underwryten as the said petitione bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell having Considered this petition given in to them by the said petitioner They do heirby Recommend to her Grace the Dutchess of Hamilton And In her Graces absence Grant order and warrand to […] Hamilton her baillie of the abbey of holyrudehouse to suffer and allow the Corps of the above Lady Cardross the petitioners mother to be Interred in the abbey church notwithstanding the samen be declared his Majesties Chapell.
