Act Ersken of Alva anent infefting him

Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be Sir John Arskine of Alva Shewing That wher ther being no Shirreff presently off mateing in the Shyre of Clackmannan, for which cause The saids Lady of privie Counsell did formerly grant a comissione of Shirreffshipe to Leivetenent Collonell John Arskine Governor of the castle of Stirleing for the Speciall effect of receaveing and inventar of the petitioners deceast fathers estate in order to his Service And the petitioner haveing accordingly given up inventar and being Served and retoured his infeftment cannot be expede wnless the saids Lords be pleased to grant a comissione of Sheireffshipe for that Speciall effect also And therfor humblie craveing to the effect eftermentioned As the said petitione bears Which petitione being this day red and considered be the saids Lords of privie Counsell They heirby appoint […] Livingstowne of Bedlornie and […] Rollo of Woodsyde Shirreffs Deputes of Stireling and Clackmannan nominat by the Saids Lords of privie Counsell upon the fourth Day of March instant to infeft the petitioner in the Lands Lying within the saids Shyres of Stirline and Clackmanan And Speciallie for infefting him at the maner place of CambusKenneth2 which by his fathers infeftment is Declaired Sufficient tho the Lands lye in different Shyres and Jurisdictiones And if the Saids […] Livingstowne of Bedlorinne And […] Rollo of Woodsyde have not accepted of the saids two Shirriff depute Shipes wherto they are appointed by the Counsell Then and in that caice nominats and appoints the above Collonwll John Arskine to be Shirreff of the Said Shyre of Stirline and Clackmannan ad Hwnc Speciallem effectwm allenarly viz to infeft the petitioner in the Lands foirsaids in maner above written And ordaines the persones foirsaids nominat by the Counsell for infefting the petitioner as afoirsaid for which this shall be to all persones concerned a Sufficient warrand
