Warrand for oppen prisone to some prisoners in the Castle of Edinburgh

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to the Earle of Leven Governour of the Castle of Edinburgh and in his absence Giv’s ordor and warrand to the other Commanding officers of the said Garrison To allow the persons following viz the duke of Gordon The Earles of Home and Strathmore The Viscount of Stormont The Lord Drumcairne Sir William Bruice of Kinross and Sir William Sharp of Staniehill the benefitt of open prisone The Governour officers and souldiers of the said Castle being alwayes answerable for the safe Custodie of the foresaid persons.
