Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be Thomas Greive merchand in Berwick Shewing that the petitioner haveing in the midle of September Last Shipped aboard Six Hundereth bolls of bear and malt in order to import the samen to this kingdome the petitioner was detained and stopped in his voyadge by contrairie wynd untill the tyme allowed for importing of victwall was elapsed And Seing the foirsaid victwall was Shipped aboard upon the faith of his majesties proclamatione And that the Same is readie to be imported and will come in verie good Seasone for Supplieing the wants of poor people the haill Victwall formerlie imported at Leith being now exhawsed And that the petitioner is content to qwyte the benefite of the twentie Shilling per boll allowed to importers by the Late proclamatione And therfor humblie craveing to the effect eftermentioned As the said petitione bears Which being this day red and considered be the saids Lords of privie Counsell They Doe heirby grant warrand to the petitioner to import into this kingdome the above qwantitie of six Hundereth bolls of bear and mast The petitioner allwayes paying the custome and other publict Dwes for the same according as was formerlie in wse to be done of before
