Recomendatione to The provest of Edinburgh anent horse coupers

The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell Doe heirby recommend to Sir Robert Cheisly Lord provest of Edinburgh to give in to the Comittie appointed for examineing the horse coupers a list of all horses which have been seazed by the Magistrats of Edinburgh or brought in to the towne of Edinburgh or suburbs efter they were seased and of the persones to whom they belong And also for the tyme comeing from tyme to tyme to be by the Comittie presented to The Lords Commissioners of his majesties Thesaurie To the effect their Lordships may know in whose hands these horses are and from whom to call for the peices therof after they are rowped
