Report anent militia and Heretors of Haddingtounshyre
The Lord Yester and Lord Justice Clerk acquainted the Councill That they had revewed the randivouze of the militia and Heretors of the Shyre of Haddingtoune yeasterday upon Benistoune moor and that the Heretors were pretty numerous and wel mounted and armed but that the Intimations for the Randivouze of the militia hes not been made so tymeously through the whole shyre as they aught to have been wherethrough some were but comeing up to the randivouze as the pairted But there were there present two hundred wel armed and above ane hundred without armes of the militia that should have randivouzed there to whom and their officers they intimat the 2 Councills ordors as above
