Anent the petitione given in to The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be Agnes Davidsone Spouse to Mr James Schaw Late minister at Anwrith in Galloway Humbly Shewing That wher the petitioners husband did serve the cure at the foirsaid church for the Space of twentie yeirs and upwards whilst in the yeir Jaj vic eightie nyn in the moneth of march he was violently thrwst from his charge or benefice without Law thowgh he was willing to comply with the Law soe that ever Since he with his wife and four young childrein hes bein in a very sad destitwtione and want And now Seing the forsaid church is vaccant for the yeir Jaj vic nynty thrie and not disposed upon for any piows wse The Patron Sir Godfrey Mcculloch being fwgitive and owt of the kingdome for Severall yeirs And therfor humblie craveing to the effect eftermentioned as the said petitione bears The Saids Lords of his majesties privie Counsell haveing considered the above petitione They humbly allow the petitioner the Stipend of the above kirk of Anruth for the haill cropt and yeir of God Jaj vic nyntie thrie yeirs And ordains the petitioner to be readielie ansuered obeyed and payed of the said of the saids yeirs Stipends be the heretors fewars wodsetters Liferenters titulars tacksemen of teinds tennents possessors and others lyable in payment of the same And ordains Letters of horning to be direct heiron at the petitioners instance against the heretors fowers wodsetters and others foirsaids lyable in payment of the said yeirs Stipend upon productione of a decreit of Localitie And in caice ther be non ordaines the heretors and others lyable in payment to make payment to the petitioner of ther respective proportions therof according as they shall be decerned and determined by the Judge ordinary
