Anent tradeing with France

The Councill Haveing heared the Coppie of a lyne from Secretarie Turnbull to Secretary Johnstoune which the Lord High Chancellor did produce to the board declareing it the Kings pleasure That the tradeing from France be restrained and the East Indea trade not prejudged They Continowed the same till thursday next That betwixt and then the Councill might consider whatt will be fitt to be done in this matter anent the tradeing with France
