Act for forfaulting horses and armes etc

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill have declared the propertie of all Horses seized from persones not qualified to be forfaulted and by this present act doe forfault all the said Horses belonging to any persone or persons whatsomever who have not qualified themselves according to Law by swearing and signeing the oath of alleadgeance and signing the assureance appoynted to his majestie King William by act of parliament The said Horses being alwayes above the pryce of ane Hundred merks scots a peice And that whether these horses be in the Hands of the persones to whom they belong or in the Hands and Custodie of any other persons for their behoove or seized by publict ordor or where or in whose Hands soever the said Horses may be upon their account and declairs That the said Horses doe belong to the publict and discharges the persones owners thereof or any others whatsomever to sell or dispose therupon But appoynts them to be made furthcomeing for the publict use as orders shall be given for that effect
