Act Sir William Bruce of Kinross
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill having Considered a petition Given in to them by Sir William Bruce of Kinross wherupon ther is a delyverance of the Threttie of Jully Last They heirby take off the petitioners Confynment from the Tuenty of Agust instant to the tenth day of september next And that notuithstanding of the sentence of Confynment pronunced against the said Sir William And the saids Lords Doe heirby allow the said Sir William to travell straight from his oune house of Kinross to the toune of Stirling at any tyme from the said tuenty of Agust instant to the said tenth of September next And to remaine Confyned uithin the said toune of Stirling and tuo miles about the same For attending the Lord Marques of Montrose his affairs In respect the said Sir William Bruce before extracting heirof Hath Given bond and found sufficient Caution acted in the books of his majesties privie Councill That he shall repair straight from his oune house of Kinross to the said toune of Stirling And that he shall remaine at the said toune and tuo milles about the same untill he shall return to his former Confynment And that he shall return to his former Confynment2 at his oune house of Kinross and tuo miles about the same betuixt and the said tenth day of September nixt And that he shall observe the same and not Goe uithout the Bounds therof And that He shall Live peacably under and uith all submission to the present Government of his Majestie King William And that he shall not Act Consult nor Contrive or Correspond uith any rebells And that he shall appear before the saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill whensoever he shall be Called for or requyred to that effect under the penaltie of five Hundreth pounds sterling money In caise he shall transgress in any pairt of the premisses
