Recommendation for making a Cashet
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Considering that ther hes not been a Cashett for Cashetting of Gifts and other2 wrytts in use to have been Cashetted since his Majestie came to the throne They heirby Recommend to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaurie to Cause James Clerk Ingraver in his Majesties mint house in Edinburgh make and Engrave a Cashett in the usuall forme And when it is made To delyver the same to Mr Alexander Home keeper of his Majesties great seall under the Lord Chancelor To be by him made use of in Cashetting of Gifts or other wrytts in use to have been Cashetted And Recommends to the saids Lords Commissioners To Cause payment be made to the said James Clerk for making and Engraving of the said Cashett
