Recomendatione to Lord Advocat to take tryall of William Fairholme

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe Hereby recomend to Sir James Stueart his Majesties Advocat To call for and examine William Fairholme presentlie prisoner in the Tolbooth of Edinburgh and if he find noe just Cause for detaineing the said William That He be delyvered to Captain Duncan Campbell in the Lord Lorne his Regiment to be carried aboard by him To Flanders as a Souldier in the said Regiment In respect the Councill have seen a testificat under William Fairholms hand bearing that He hes listed himself in the said Companie and Regiment
