Act Mr Thomas Ogilvie Stipend of Alyth

Anent the petitione given to the Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be Mr Thomas Ogilvie preacher of the gospell Shewing That wher by the fifth act of the Last Session of this current parliament All molested preachers appointed by the presbetrie to Supply the vaccancie of any church untill the samen be Legallie planted are declaired to have right to the vaccant Stipend of the said church Dureing ther preaching therat And that a certificat from the presbitrie Shall be Sufficient probatione of ther haveing preached at the said church And the petitioner haveing bein appointed by the presbitrie of Dundie to Supply the vaccance of the church of Alyth untill he Should be recalled by ther order And haveing accordingly preached at the said church since the first of March inclusive Jaj vic nyntie five yeirs Conforme to a certificat under the hand of the moderator and clerk of the presbitrie of Dwndie and a declaratione wnder the heretors and others of the said paroch produced with the said petitione in the termes of the foirsaid act of parliament As the said petitione bears The Lords of his majesties privie Cownsell haveing considered the above petitione given in to them be the said Thomas Ogilvie with the testificat of the presbetrie of Dwndie And a declaratione wnder the hand of the heretors and others of the parish of Alyth They heirby allow to the petitioner the Stipend of the said kirk and paroch of Alyth for the haill cropt and yeir of god Jaj vic nyntie five yeirs And ordaines him to be readiely ansuered obeyed and payed therof be the heretors fewars tenents possessors and others lyable in payment of the said yeirs Stipend And ordaines Letters of horning wnder the Signet of Councell on fiftie dayes to be direct at the petitioners instance against the heretors fewars wodsetters liferenters and others foirsaid upon productione of a decreit of Localitie And in caice ther be non ordaines the heretors and others foirsaids to make payment of ther respective proportiones of the said yeirs Stipend according as they shall be decerned by the Judge ordinary
