Remitt anent a persone killed betuixt Leith and Edinburgh

The Lords of his majesties privie Counsell remitts to the comittie formerly appointed to take tryall anent the murder of […] Alexander killed upon the second day of this moneth betwixt Leith and Edinburgh viz The Lord Anstruther Sir Robert Sinclair and Sir John Maxuell to enquyre furder anent the foirsaid murder with power to them to comitt to prisone or putt wnder cawtione Such persones as they shall think fitt or to Liberat such persones as are alreadie comitted by them upon such termes and under such penalties as they Shall appoint
