Act Arnot of Pitgrungres

Anent The petitione given in to the Lords of his majesties privie Counsell be John Arnot of Pitrunges Shewing wheras The saids Lords granted the vaccant Stipend wheras The saids Lords granted the vaccant Stipend of Abernethie for the Last half yeir J^aj vi^c eightie nyn for repaireing the kirk and building a Schoolhouse in the said paroch And nominat the petitioners factor for uplifting therof and applying it to the ends foresaids And the petitioner haveing accordingly repaired the said kirk and built the Schoolhouse And also a new Loft in the end of the church And therby fullfilled his bond as ane testificat from the kirk sessione of Abernethie produced with the said petitione doeth testifie And therfor humbly craveing to the effect eftermentioned As the said petitione bears which petitione being this day red and considered be the said Lords of his majesties privie Counsell They heirby Give order and warrand to the clerks of privie Counsell to give up and deliver to the petitioner the bond mentioned in a bill wherin the petitioners is principallie Mr Alexander Dwning persone of Abernethie is cautioner dated the twentie third day of February J^aj vi^c nyntie two yeirs
