Warrand for free air to the Lord Drumcairn and others
The Lords of his majesties privie Councell Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Leven Governour of the Castle of Edinburgh and in his absence Gives order and warrand to the next Commanding officer ther to allow […] Murray Lord Drumcairne Sir William Bruce of Kinross and Sir William Sharpe of Stoniehill presently closs prisoners in the said Castle the Libertie to goe abroad furth of their Chambers at any tyme to take the air at any place within the gates of the said Castle under the Custody of ane officer or souldier for ilk ane of the saids three persones And discharges the officers and souldiers who shall attend the saids three persons to suffer them to Converss uith or speak to one another or to any persone whatsomever But if any of their Ladys Desire to speake Converss or remaine uith their husbands alloues them to doe the same They being alwayes Detained closs prisoners uith their saids husbands and not suffered to Converss or speak uith others of the saids prisoners or uith one another except each Lady uith her oune husband with Libertie to the saids Ladys to take the air each Lady uith her oune husband in the terms as is appointed to their saids husbands
