Act appoynting Edinburgh’s volunteer Regiment not to dissipat

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby appoynt the Volunteer Regiment offered by the Inhabitants of Edinburgh besides their militia and traine bands and which Regiment is to muster this day not to dissipate till fryday next inclusive And the Councill declars That none of the persons in the said Regiment shall be troubled as Souldiers or Desertors at any tyme Hereafter upon the account of their being in this Regiment But that the dismissing of the said Regiment shall be to them a sufficient exoneratione without any passe
