Warrand for Furnishing provisions to horse and dragoons
Forasmuch as The advertisement Given of ane Invasion from France may occasione the frequent Moving of the Troops of horse and Dragoons From one place to another wherthrough they or the Commissioners obleidged to provyde them may be exacted on above the Just rates Therefore The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Recommend to and require the Commissioners of supplie within the shires of this Kingdome wher the saids troops shall happen to Come in transient and Locall quarters To take care that ther be no executing upon or exorbitant rates demanded from the saids troops or Commissionars By such who have the necessary provisions and are to furnish the same And that in case of such contests and Differences The saids Commissioners Desire and appoint the Just prices of the Corne as also of the straw and hay which the saids Lords Doe heirby ordaine to be sold by weight at the pryces to be aggreed or defined as above.
