Warrand For Citing Chiftains of Clanns And anent a bond to be given by them

Report of the Committie for the Highland Clanns and the haill kingdome and anent the Chiftains to be Cited before the Councell with a List of these Chiftains Contained in the Committies report and another List wryten by Sir Gilbert Eliot one of the Clerks of Counsell Togither with the tenor of the bond to be signed by the saids Chiftains read And the Councell approves of the bond And ordaines all the Chiftains in the saids Lists and their Lowland Cautioners to be found by them to signe and subscrive the same And ordaines Letters to be direct under the signet of Councill at the instance of Sir James Steuart his Majesties Advocat For Citing all the persons in the saids Lists to appear before the Councell upon the first second and third thursdayes of June nixt to Come a third part of them to each of the saids three dayes to subscribe the said bond and to bring a sufficient Lowland man allong with each of them to subscryve Cautioner for them with Certification to each persone who failzies to Compear and bring a sufficient Lowland Cautioner allongst with them that they shall be declared fugitive and Denunced to the horne And the Letters are to Containe ane Expres warrand that the Citation given to each of the saids persons shall be a sufficient protection to them from Civill debts after the Tuenty Tuentie fifth and Threttie dayes of May to their Compearance and for ten dayes therafter
