The Letter afterinsert being read was ordored to be recorded whereof the tenor followeth sic suprascribitur William Rex Right trusty and Right welbeloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and intirely beloved Cousin and Councillor Right trusty and right welbeloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Cousins and Councillors Right trusty and welbeloved Councillors and Trusty and welbeloved Councillors we greet you well it is our will and pleasure That ye sett at Liberty Sir Patrick Maxuell of Sprinkell He finding sufficient Baill and securitie to live peaceablie and to appear before you when called. For doeing whereof this shall be your warrant so we bid you heartily farewell Given at our Court at Kensingtone the 15th day of Januarie 1695/6 and of our Reigne the 7th year By his majesties Command sic subscribitur J Johnstoune
