Committie anent Bales and persons come from France

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby nominat and appoint the Earle of Melvill Lord president of privie Councill The Duke of Queensberry Lord privie Seall The Earls of Argyll and Annandale The Viscount of Teviot Lord Advocat Lord Justice Clerk and Sir John Maxwell of Pollock to be a Committie to meet with the Lord Chancelor at his Lordships Lodging on Satturday nixt at nyne of the clock in the forenoon And to Consider the List made up by the Councill taken from the books wherein the persons under bale are Insert And Lykewayes to Consider the proclamation of Councill Against persons who have been in France And to Consider what of these persons under bale are to be Called for or what else is to be done with them and the persons in the forsaid proclamation And to report therein In the whole matter to the saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill And declares any four of the said Committie with the Lord High Chancelor to be a sufficient Quorum.
