Comitie anent John Adair and Captain Slazer

Petitione John Adair Geographer read and haveing considered the petitione with the report mentioned them they heirby give order and warrand to the generall receaver to make payment to the petitioner of Edinburgh within soume Four Thousand five Hundered and fourtie four pund Scotts money And that out of the first and readiest of the fond of twnnage appointed be the act of parliament And nominats and appoints the Earle of Leven The Lord Jwstice clerk and Sir Archibald Mwir proveist of Edinburgh whom the Counsell adds to the said Lord Ruthven and Mr Francis Montgomerie to be a comittie for considering how the said money is to be imployed in order to prosecuteing the work of the Mapps how much of it up on what is alreadie Done and how much of it upon what is yet to be Done And recomends to the Comittie to meet at My Lord Chancellors Lodgeing and his Lordship to meet with them upon Munday the fourth of Janwary next at ten in the foirnoon And delcaires any thrie of the said Comittie with My Lord Chancellor to be a qworum
