Act Banishing Mr Charles Kay
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Doe Heirby Discharge Mr Charles Kay Late minister at Leith to preach or exercise any pairt of his ministeriall functione in this Kingdome And banishes the said Mr Charles Kay from the toune of Edinburgh Cannongate Leith and haill Liberties and priviledges therof And ordennes him to depart furth of the same betuixt and the first day of May nixt to Come And discharges him to returne uithin the saids bounds uithout the King or Councells warrand for that effect And that In respect the said Mr Charles Kay In his examination before his Majesties advocat Hes declared That by the whole royall family In his prayers He does not refuise But that among others he meaned the Late King James and the prince of Wales And appointes the macers of Councell to make Intimatione of this sentence to the said Mr Charles Kay And Give in ane executione of their Intimatione to the Clerks of privie Councell. Conform to this ordinance the macers of privie Councell produced ane executione to Mr Charles Kay, personallie apprehended
