Recomendation to Sir Thomas Livingstoune anent 300 men

The Lords of his majesties privy Councill doe hereby Recomend to Sir Thomas Livingstone Commander in Cheiff of his majesties Forces within this Kingdome to divyde the three Hundred men who were designed for Recruits to Flanders being driven back by storme to the harbour of the Ellie and are now Committed to the Castles and forts of Edinburgh and Stirling equally among the fyve standing Regiments within this Kingdome and for that effect gives warrand to the Commanders and officers of the said Castles of Edinburgh and Stirling To delyver these three Hundred men to the said Sir Thomas Livingstoune or any officer He shall appoynt to receive them when requyred
