Excuise Earle of Annandale

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby excuse […] Earle of Annandale from attending the randivouz of the militia in Linlithgowshyre in respect of his present indisposition of bodie And recomend’s to the Lord Chancellour to wryte a Lyne to the Earle of Leven againe to cause randivouze the militia of Fyfe and Kinross shyre upon the eighteen day of March instant and in the mean tyme That they be sent home till that day after the first dayes randivouze is over be commanded to returne the said eighteenth day and the Lyke lyne to the Lord Polwarth for Berwickshyre The Laird of Livingstoune for Linlithgowshyre and the Collonell or other comanding officer of the militia in Selkirkshyre which were are dispatched in the afternoon
