Act Mr Charles Kay
The Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell Considering That Mr Charles Kay late minister at Leith Is by their Interloquitor of the Eight of Aprile Jaj vic nyntie six years discharged to preach or exercise any part of his ministeriall functione within this Kingdom And is theirby banished from the toune of Edinburgh Cannongate Leith and haill Liberties and priviledges therof For the reasons contained in the said Interloquitor And their Lordships being this day Informed That the said Mr Charles is become valitudinary and very sick Therfore they heirby take off the forsaid sentence of banishment formerly pronounced against the said Mr Charles Kay And Declares him quyte therof and free therfrom And notwithstanding therof alloues him to returne to and reside within any of the places from which he uas formerly banished In respect he hath Inacted himself in the books of privie Councill That he shall not preach baptize or marrie nor exercise any other pairt of his ministeriall function within this Kingdom under the penaltie of five hundreth merks Scotts money.
