Warrand Anent dayes in Letters about arms and Highland Clanns
The Lords of his Majesties privie Councell doe heirby appoint their Clerks to fill up the tuentieth day of June next to Come in the Letters to be direct against shirreffs and other magistrats for returning reports anent horses seased from the persons not alloued by Law to Keep horses above ane hundreth merks pryce and for putting seased armes into Garrisons And to fill up the dayes follouing in the Letters to be derect against the Chiftains of Highland Clanns which are to be divyded into three severall Letters In the first which are to be against such as Ly neirest to Edinburgh the third teusday of June next to Come And in the second which are to be against such as Ly in the midle the Last teusday of the said moneth And in the third which are to be against such as Ly furdest from Edinburgh the first teusday of July next to Come
