Warrand confyneing Livingstoune of Kilsyth

Master William Livingstoune of Kilsyth who was under bale to the Councill being ceitted compeared The Lords of his Majesties privie Councille doe Hereby confyne the said Mr. William Livingstone to his Chamber at Edinburgh in the house of Alexander Lamb Indweller in Edinburgh and ordaines him to give bond and find sufficient Cautione acted in the books of privie Councill That he shall not goe without his Chamber to which he is confyned and that He shall live peaceably under and with all submissione to the present government of his majestie King William And that he shall not act consult or contryve any thing in prejudice thereof nor converse or correspond with any Rebells and that he shall appear before the said Lords when called for under the penalty of ane thousand pound sterling And the said Lords in the mean tyme recomends to the Lord Murray principal Secretarie of State to acquaint his majestie with what the Councill hes done in this affair and to endeavour to know his majesties mynd theranent and to signifie the same to the Councill.
