Recomendation to the Thesaury In favoures of The Duke of Queensberry

The Duke of Queensberry Captain of his Majesties troop of Guairds Having represented to the Lords of his Majesties privie Councill That his Grace hes subsisted the said troop upon his oune privat purse since the first of June last And that he hes receaved noe more from England for their subsistance since the […] day of Aprile Last By reason of the disorder and Confusion the state of the money is at present under in England The Saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Recommends to the Lords Commissioners of his Majesties Thesaury to Cause advance such soume or soumes of money as their Lordships shall think fitt for subsisting the said troop for such tyme as they shall think meet and and2 that upon securitie of his Grace the Duke of Queensberry and the other officers of the said Troop as the Lords of Thesaury shall require for payment therof sic subscribitur Poluarth cancelar Queensberry Argyll Morton Lothian Leven John Hamilton Ruthven James Ogilvie
