Warrand to the Lord Advocat to process Coatmuir folk

Sir James Steuart his Majesties Advocat Having represented that Conforme to the reference of the Lords of his Majesties privie Counsell The Committie appointed for examining of the tuo Coatmuir Lads Having mett Did Call for and examine the said tuo Lades And Found them very Insolent and extravagant against the Government of Church and state Both in their deportment and expressions as if they had been persons under distemper of mynd And therupon returned them to prisone And that at their returning three women who seem to be under the same distemper with the Lades Having waited at the Committie door all the tyme of the examination Did Immediatly as the Lades were returning to prison both at the Committie door and in the parliament Close In face of the Lords of the Committie use the same or the Lyke Insolence and extravagancy both in their Language and Deportment which the Lades had done The saids Lords Doe Heirby Recommend to the Lord Advocat to raise a Lybell against the saids tuo Lads and also the three women before the Councell To Ansuer for their Insolencie and extravagancy aither in Language or deportment upon Teusday next
