Lord Drumcairne Sir William Bruce and Sir William Sharp Committed closs prisoners to the Castle of Edinburgh

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby recomend to the Earle of Leven Governour of the Castle of Edinburgh and in his absence giv’s ordor and warrand to the next Commanding officer there To Committ the following persons viz […] Murray of Drumcairne Sir William Bruce of Kinross and Sir William Sharpe of Steniehill (who are presently prisoners in the said Castle) Closs prisoners in the said Castle and to suffer none to speak or converse with them untill furder ordor and that they be exonered and Recomends to the said Earle of Leven to remove Sir William Bruce his Ladie from Him and not suffer her to have access to Him.
