Order

Recomendatione to the Earl of Argyle and Lord Justice Clerk To cause the Clerks to the Comissioners of Justiciary etc to transmitt all bonds taken by them from the Highland clanns to the Clerks of privie Councill

The Lords of his majesties privie Councill doe hereby Recomend to the Earle of Argyle to cause the Clerks to the Commissioners for the peace of the Highlands in such places as lye within his Lordships bounds and heretable Jurisdictions Transmitt to the Clerks of his majesties privie Councill all such bonds as the Commissioners in that bounds have taken for the keeping the publict peace either from Chiftianes of Claims or others and recomends to the Lord Justice Clerk to cause the Clerks to the said Commissioners for the northern and midle divisione of the Comissione of Justiciarie for the peace of the Highlands transmitt to the said Clerks of privie Councill all such bonds are taken from the Chiftianes or others foresaid in these two divisions for keeping the publick peace betwixt and the […] day of […] next to come
