Act Mr John Wilsone
Anent the petitione given in to the Lords of his Majesties privie Councell By Mr John Wilsone Late minister of Kirkuall Sheuing That the petitioner by their Lordships former sentence being Confyned to the Isle of Zetland and afteruards released from that sentence yet Is Commanded thither againe in May nixt as he is Informed notuithstanding of his readines to pray for King William as King And presse and practise as he aluayes hath Done subjection and obedience to his Majestie and government And therfore Humblie Craving their Lordships to releiss his Confynment and permitt him to Live at Libertie on the forsaid tearms That he with his numerous family may not be exposed to starving In a Countrey wher ther is almost a famine as the said petition bears The saids Lords of his Majesties privie Councell Having Considered this petitione given in to them by the above Mr John Wilsone They Doe heirby take off the sentence of Confynment formerly pronunced against the petitioner And Declares him quytt therof and free therfrae and heirby Banishes him out of the steuartry of Orkney and Zetland and haill bounds of the samen and out of the toune of Edinburgh Cannongate and Leith and the priviledges Liberties and suburbs of the said toune of Edinburgh And alloues him to Live duell and reside in any other place within this Kingdome Besyds the places he is heirby banished from as above
