Act Charging such as have putt out In sufficient men to putt out sufficient ones in their place

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Having Considered the Lists given in to them By Sir Thomas Livingstoune Commander in cheiff of their majesties forces uithin this kingdome of severall persones putt out in the new Levys as souldiers by the particular Leaders afternamed and rejected and Casten as Insufficient and not Capable for their majesties service They heirby ordaine Letters of horning to be direct at the Instance of Sir James Ogilvie their majesties sollicitor against the Leaders or outputters of the said Insufficient men For Charging these Leaders or outputters To furnish and putt out sufficient men In place of these rejected as Insufficient viz. Act Discharging Circuit Courts for this year 1694

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Considering That by the fifth article of the sixteenth act of the third session of the second parliament of King Charles the second Concerning the Justice Court It is expressly appointed that once in the year in the months of Apryle or May Circuit Courts be keeped in the way and manner exprest in the said act They in respect that the present Circumstances and exigences of affairs Doe not requyre Circuits for this year att the tymes forsaids Doe heirby suspend and Discharge the saids Lords of Justiciary their going in Circuits att this tyme And exoners them of what by the said Act of parliament they are appointed to doe for this year

Warrand to hyre a ship for transporting the rebells that were in the Bass

The Lords of their Majesties privie Councell Doe heirby appoint George Baillie of Jarvisuood Generall Receaver of their Majesties Croune rents to make search and try out for and Conduce ane sufficient uell Conditioned ship uell furnished and provyded uith all necessaries For transporting to Havedegrace in France The persons Lately come out of the Bass att the tyme of its surrender and others who have Corresponded uith them And for that effect to Conduce and agree uith a skipper and seamen for sailing the said ship at as easie and reasonable a rate as he Can And to Condescend upon a fixed day for the ships sailing betuixt and the fifteenth day of May nixt And to make report of his dilligence in the afternoon to the Committie of Councell appointed in this affaire

The Follouing Letter from the King to the Councell Being read was ordered to be recorded wherof the tenor folloues
sic suprascribitur William Rex
Right trustie and Right well beloved Cousine and Councelers Right trustie and Entirely beloved Cousins and Councelers Right trustie and well beloved Cousins and Councelors And Right trustie and well beloved Councelors We Greet yow well wheras In Consideration of the Loyaltie and abilities of our Right trustie and uell beloved John Lord Murray we Have thought fitt to add him to the privie Councell It is therfore our will and pleasure And we doe heirby authorize and Requyre yow to admitt and receave him Into that our privie Councell In the ordinary forme and methode In such caises accustomed For doing quherof This shall be your warrand And so we bidd yow heartily Fareuell Given att our Court at Kensingtoun the 28th day of February 1693/4 and of our reigne the 5th year By his Majesties Command sic subscribitur J Johnstoun And the Lord Murray Being Called for and Having suorne and signed the oath of alleadgance and subscribed the assurance appointed by act of parliament And the Lord Chancelor having administrat to him the oath de fideli He was receaved a privie Councelor
