Proclamation adjourneing the parliament
The forsaid Letter being read a proclamatione wes Imediatly drawen and signed and ordered to be published on thursday the morrow being a fast day, off which proclamation the tenor followes William and Mary be the grace of God King and Queen of great Brittain France and Ireland defenders of the faith To our Lyon King at armes and his brethren heraulds macers of our privie Councill pursevants messengers at armes our shirreffs in that pairt Conjunctly and severallie speciallie constitute Greeting Forasmuchas wee with advyce of the Lords of our privie Councill did by our proclamatione of the dait the tuenty nynth day of March Last by past adjourne the current parliament of this our ancient Kingdome of Scotland from the fyfteint day of Apryll Last by past to the seventeint day of August next in this present year one thousand six hundreth and nyntie tuo years And now In regaird of our absence And that our effairs in this our said ancient Kingdome doe not requyre the meeting of our parliament so soon And that the members of parliament may not be put to the trouble and expenses of meeting upon the said day Wee Therefore with advyce of the Lords of our privie Councill hereby adjourne our said Current parliament untill the sixteent day of November next to come in this said instant year one thousand six hundreth and nyntie tuo Hereby requyreing all the members of our parliament to give attendance at Edinburgh on that day in the accustomed maner and under the certificationes contained in the severall acts of parliament Our Will is therefore And wee charge yow straitly and Command that Incontinent thir our Letters seen, ye pass to the mercat croce of Edinburgh and to the mercat croce of the wholl heid burghes of the severall shyres of this kingdome And there in our name and authoritie by open proclamatione make publication of the said adjournment of our said current parliament of this our ancient Kingdome from the said seventeint day of August to the said sixteent day of November both next ensueing and ordaines these presents to be printed Given under our signet at Edinburgh the tuenty sixt day of Jullij and of our reigne the fourth year Jaj vjc nyntie tuo years Sic Subscribitur Tweeddale Cancel: Melvill Douglas Drumlangrig Linlithgow Lothiane Forfar Kintoir Breadalbane Tarbat Stair Polwarth

Proclamation adjourning the parliament
The forsaid letter being read a proclamation was immediately drawn and signed and ordered to be published on Thursday, the morrow being a fast day, off which proclamation the tenor follows. William and Mary, by the grace of God King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland, defenders of the faith, to our Lyon King at arms and his brethren heralds, macers of our privy council, pursuivants, messengers at arms, our sheriffs in that part conjunctly and severally specially constituted, greetings. Forasmuch as we with advice of the lords of our privy council did by our proclamation of the date the twenty ninth day of March last bypast adjourned the current parliament of this our ancient kingdom of Scotland from the fifteenth day of April last bypast to the seventeenth day of August next in this present year 1692, and now in regard of our absence and that our affairs in this our said ancient kingdom do not require the meeting of our parliament so soon, and that the members of parliament may not be put to the trouble and expenses of meeting upon the said day, we therefore with advice of the lords of our privy council hereby adjourn our said current parliament until the sixteenth day of November next to come in this said instant year 1692 hereby requiring all the members of our parliament to give attendance at Edinburgh on that day in the accustomed manner and under the certifications contained in the several acts of parliament, our will is therefore and we charge you straitly and command that incontinent there our letters seen, you pass to the mercat cross of Edinburgh and to the mercat cross of the whole head burghs of the several shires of this kingdom, and there in our name and authority by open proclamation make publication of the said adjournment of our said current parliament of this our ancient kingdom from the said seventeenth day of August to the said sixteenth day of November both next ensuing, and ordain these presents to be printed. Given under our signet at Edinburgh the twenty sixth day of July and of our reign the fourth year 1692.
