The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Give order and warrand to their Clerks to delyver up the bond granted by Alexander Brand merchant in Edinburgh and his Cautioner dated the tuenty third day of February Jaj vic nyntie seven years For whom this shall be a sufficient exoneratione.

Warrand to receave recruits into the Castle of Edinburgh

The Lords of his Majesties privie Councill Doe heirby Recommend to the Earle of Leven Governour and Constable of the Castle of Edinburgh and in his absence Gives order and warrand to the nixt Commanding officer ther to receave into the said Castle tuo hundred of the recruits brought togither besydes Eightie already therin by Collonell George Hamiltone For recruiting of his Majesties forces in Flanders and detaine them therin untill they be gott shipped for Flanders And Recommends to the Viscount of Teviot Commander in cheiff of his Majesties forces uithin this Kingdome to send such a detachment of the standing forces for the better securitie of that garrisone as the said Earle of Leven or nixt Commanding officer in his absence shall Call for.
