The Lord president of Councell his seat in parliament

It Being moved by the Lord president of Councill when his seat should be in the parliament The Earle of Kintoire Declared that he Remembered when the Duke of Queensberry was president of Councill he sate first amongst the Nobility before the Duke of Hamilton And therupon it was ordered that the Earle of Melvill present president of the privie Councill should sitt the first persone amongst the Nobility in the Meetings of parliament.

The Earle of Kintore and Lord Ross receaved privie Councelors

The Earle of Kintore and Lord Ross nominat privie Councelors In his Majesties Last Commission of privie Councill Being present Did signe and suear the oath of alleadgance and assurance appointed to his Majestie by Act of parliament And the Lord high Chancelor having administrat to them the oath de fideli administratione And both of the saids noble Lords having subscribed the association in the parliament with the rest of the privie Councill They were receaved privie Councellors Conforme to the Commission.
