The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Nominat and appoint the Marques of Annandale Lord president of privy Councill; Earles of Tillibardine Lord privy Seall; Lauderdale, Loudoune, Forfar; Viscount of Rose berry Lord President of Session; Register; Advocat, Aberurchill; Mr Francis Montgomry, Collingtoune, Carnwath and the Lord provest of Edinburgh to be a Committie for hearing and determineing of all debates anent pressed men and Souldiers Contrair to the acts of parliament And Declares any two of the said Committie a Sufficient quorum And Recommends to them to meett the morrow morning at ten of the Cloak in the forenoon or at any other time. their Lordships pleases for determineing as Said is.

The privy Seall being ingraven; ordered that the old Seall be defaced

The Privy Seall being Engraven by James Clerk Engraver in her Majesties Mint Conforme to Ane Recommendation and Ordinance of privy Councill for that effect; The Samen was produced at the Councill board, The Saids Lords of her Majesties privy Councill appoints and ordains the Said New Seall to be made use of in all time comeing And ordaines their Clerks to deface the old Seall and See the Samen Rocken; And appoints the old Seall to be delyvered to the keeper therof.

The Lords of her Majesties privy Councill Doe hereby Recommend to her Grace Anna Dutches of Hamiltone and in her absence gives order and warrand to John Hamiltone her Graces Baillie, To Suffer and permitt the body of George Earle of Southerland to be interred within the Abbay Church of Holyruidhouse Notwithstanding the Same be declared her Majesties Chapell For which this Shall be to all concerned ane Sufficient warrand.

Letter from the Queen to the Councill for adding Receiveing and admitting William Lord Haddo to her Majesties privy Councill of this kingdome Read and ordered to be recorded And the said William Lord Haddo being present did qualifie himself to her Majestie by Swearing the Oath of alledgance and Subscrybeing the same with the assurance; and the Lord Chancelor did tender to him the Oath de fideli, And therafter he did take his place at the board accordingly. Followes the Letter.
